Background removal, by keying
For subjects on a plain background: click the background colour, set tolerance and edge feather, export a PNG with transparency. This is keying, which is precise on plain grounds; AI segmentation for busy backgrounds arrives when the estate ships a model file, and this page will say so when it does.
