EOS Evolved · Shadow Key Telematics

The live view of the house.

What this is

Shadow Key Telematics is the live view of the house: sales as the service recorded them, user interactions and page views by area of the ecosystem (Games, Life, Social, Video, Music, Hub, the EOS demo, the site and the platform), where visitors come from, the uptime of the three properties and the open issues, the people counts, and the PRIORITY 1 list of the daily report, live. Every figure names the collection it was counted from; nothing is modeled. Views and interactions, not unique people: no visitor is identified. Money is shown from the service's own records; Stripe is the record of money.

The founder sees every section and every amount. A designated role (manager, brand, tester, engagement, ux) sees its part: the service decides, this page only lays it out. A role is attached to an account by the founder's invitation to its email address; sign in with that address, verified, and the role is yours until the day it expires.

An account is asked for; nothing else.
The counters are the service's sharded daily documents (telemetry_daily), written by one beacon per page view and one per material interaction from the pages of both properties; the beacon carries the area, the page, the kind, a short name and the referrer's host, and nothing about the person. A browser that says do not track sends nothing. The uptime ticks run every five minutes from the operator's schedule; an issue opens on two failures in a row or a served build other than the expected one, and closes on the next passing tick.
