Mechanism: PBKDF2-SHA-256 (310,000 iterations, random 16-byte salt) derives a 256-bit key from your passphrase; AES-256-GCM with a random 12-byte nonce encrypts the file; the .locker holds a header (version, salt, nonce, original name and type) and the ciphertext. Lose the passphrase and no one, including us, can open it. This is a device tool; a shared vault across your organization arrives with the tenancy kernel deployed.
