You are inside the early programme. What follows is what we are trying to make true, and why. It is not a specification and there is nothing here to leak.
A photograph proves nothing. It carries a timestamp your own device wrote, in a file anyone can alter, from an identity that belongs to a platform rather than to you. Nothing about a phone was designed to make you believable to a stranger, because a phone is a window onto servers somebody else runs.
That is not an oversight anyone forgot to fix. Closing it would mean a platform handing attestation authority to the person holding the device, which is the opposite of the business those platforms are in.
Three verbs. No home screen, no notifications, no store. A device with three verbs is remembered; a device with a home screen is compared.
It works with nothing. No network, no account, no sign-in, no region. The enterprise product this grew out of already makes no external calls while running and already works air-gapped. The instrument inherits that rather than approximating it.
Its proof outlives us. Verification depends on published mathematics rather than a service being alive. If this company disappears tomorrow, every record it ever made stays checkable. That sentence is not a promise about our intentions. It is a property of how the thing is built.
Not a phone replacement and not trying to be. No cellular plan, no carrier, no app store, no assistant, no general computing, no screen worth watching video on. Every one of those absences is a decision, and each is where the ambitious devices of the last decade spent money before running out of it.
Where this is, honestly. Early. There is a working software thesis and a great deal of it already runs in production across this estate. There is no shipping instrument and no date, and anyone showing you one would be showing you a render.
We would rather tell you that now than have you find it out later.
