How it will work
A concept, a target
Each concept has a raise target and a deadline, set out in plain words with its risks.
All or nothing
Commitments are held in escrow on a registered funding portal. Reach the target and it closes; miss it and every dollar is returned.
Paid twice a year
Backers are paid their share every six months, after taxes, fees, compliance, overhead and costs, under a published formula.
Two ways to take part
Ownership
A share of the product itself. The raise buys 49%, split among backers in proportion to what each put in. The founder keeps 51% and runs it.
Royalty
A share of the product's net profit, without owning the company. Your percentage applies to what is left every six months after taxes, fees, compliance, overhead and costs.
Each offering will say which it uses. Its full terms will be in its offering statement, on the registered platform where it runs.
